In view of the COVID-19 virus and the current situation, we encourage all customers to avoid queues and crowded areas by using our online money transfer service – BFC Smart Money.
BFC Smart Money is an easy to use website and Mobile App that allows you to transfer money overseas and also make bill payments like school fees, Citibank and Amex card payments at your convenience.
For registering with BFC Smart Money
Existing BFC branch Customers
Please email a copy of your CPR (front & back) and contact number to the BFC Smart Money Team at smartmoney@bfc.com.bh
Our dedicated team will further guide you on the registration process & activate the online service for you.
Non BFC Customers
Please visit any BFC branch to register and activate your BFC Smart money account.
If you are transacting at our BFC branches, we advise you to use the designated queue marks to maintain social distancing.

Customers who need to transact at BFC Branches
In accordance with the Governments Executive Committee to combat COVID 19, the following measures will be adhered to at all BFC branches.
All customers temperature will be taken as they enter the branch – if the temperature is high it will display RED and those customers cannot enter |
All customers must wear masks at all times |
Please use the social distancing stickers while waiting in the branch |
Branches are sanitized twice daily to ensure cleanliness |
Please cooperate with our branch employees in the interest of the safety of other customers and our employees.
