Bahrain Financing Company (BFC), the kingdom’s oldest and leading money transfer and currency exchange service provider has started receiving payments for individual transactions through BenefitPay, Bahrain’s national digital wallet service.
This step is in line to encourage cashless transactions, working around the Kingdom’s vision to strengthen the digital community through launching a variety of services in different sectors, especially the financial sector which has become dependable on electronic financial transactions.
Customers can now avoid handling cash and pay for their remittances, currency exchanges or bill payments via BenefitPay at any of BFC branches across the island.
Commenting on the tie-up with BenefitPay, Mr. Deepak Nair, General Manger – Retail, said
